Tulsa-based AAON Inc. is expanding its presence and has officially chosen Memphis to mark its next chapter. The company is already talking about even more growth to its data center market, possibly creating roughly 800 new jobs over the next few years.
Agricenter launches plans for $124 million Innovation District
Agricenter president John Butler believes that by building out a $124 million, 137-acre innovation district for the agricultural industry, the Agricenter could become an engine of economic development. About 40 companies currently have a presence within the area that would encompass the innovation district. Butler hopes to double that number to reach the Agricenter’s ambitious job creation goals.

In-N-Out plans expansion into Memphis
The burger chain broke ground in Tennessee in September, with a goal of opening its first restaurant in Tennessee by 2026. The first In-N-Out locations in the state will come to the Nashville area, with more to come across the state including 4-5 stores in Memphis.
Breeze Airways is coming to Memphis airport, offering 3 new destinations
A Utah-based low-cost air carrier is coming to Memphis International Airport, with service to three destinations set to launch this spring. Breeze Airways will offer nonstop routes from Memphis to Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) and Tampa International Airport (TPA), as well as a one-stop flight from Memphis to (Providence) Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport (PVD). The flights will begin in May, and booking is available now.
Live Nation to operate new live music venue in Memphis
Crosstown Concourse and Live Nation announced plans for the 35,000-square-foot venue in Crosstown — and with it, seemingly more musicians and touring acts.
