Simpson Strong-Tie, a leading manufacturer of structural connectors and building solutions, announced in October of 2023 that they will be expanding its manufacturing operations in Gallatin, Tennessee, with a $110 million investment. This expansion will create 37 new jobs in Sumner County and increase the company’s production capacity.
Construction has begun on Aero Business Park, a new industry development spanning 90 acres in Gallatin, Tennessee. Located at 750 Airport Road near Music City Executive Airport, the park will offer 297,000 square feet of space suitable for businesses of various sizes, from as little as 5,000 square feet to as much as 500,000 square feet.
Puckett’s, a renowned Southern restaurant chain, is set to open its eighth location in Hendersonville, Sumner County, early in 2024. The new 7,387-square-foot venue at 1039 Glenbrook Way will accommodate around 250 seats and offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily.
Shoals Technologies, a Sumner County-based manufacturer of electrical and solar energy equipment, has announced an $80 million expansion over the next five years. This investment will create 550 new jobs, bringing the total employment to around 1,400 in the region. Shoals will relocate its manufacturing operations to a 638,000-square-foot plant at 1500 Shoals Way in Portland, Tennessee.
