The Lexington Region moved up from ninth to fourth with 27 total projects among the Tier 2 metros and finished sixth in projects per capita.
Fritz Farm Undergoing $14.1 Million Retail Expansion
What This Means For You: Hendricks Commercial Properties (HCP) announced a $14.1 million expansion at Fritz Farm, the 52-acre mixed-use lifestyle center in south Lexington. The project will add three new retail buildings and more than 30,000 square feet of shopping and dining space to one of Lexington’s most popular destinations. Delivery of shell spaces to tenants is targeted for December 2026.
Komatsu To Acquire Remanufacturing Business Of SRC Of Lexington, Inc. In The United States
What This Means For You: Komatsu America Corp. has entered into an agreement to acquire the remanufacturing business assets of SRC of Lexington, Inc., a long-standing supplier of remanufactured components and parts for construction and mining equipment. The acquisition reflects increasing demand for Reman products, driven by growth in the installed base of quarry and mining equipment in North America since 2010, as well as strong customer and distributor demand for a regional Reman center.
