Global Supply Chain Firm Plans $20M Flagship Distribution Center in Dayton Region

(NASDAQ: PKOH) company, announced plans to significantly expand its North American distribution network with a new state-of-the-art facility in Union, Ohio. Supply Technologies, a leader in supply chain management of assembly components for global OEMs, is augmenting their network of over 70+ warehouses globally with a new 375,000-square-foot distribution center. The new facility will be their flagship location with advanced warehouse operations, quality and engineering lab and an innovation center. Once operational, the site will employ over 100 employees, creating upwards of 60 new full-time jobs. Total capital investment will be in excess of $20 million.
Suburban Cincinnati Manufacturer Debuts $16M Headquarters Expansion
What This Means For You: A German manufacturer has debuted a massive expansion of its North American headquarters in a Cincinnati suburb, doubling its space. Vega Americas celebrated the grand opening of its 120,000-square-foot expansion of its North American headquarters in Mason Oct. 3. The expansion, at 3877 Mason Research Parkway, doubled its footprint in the region and created 31 new jobs. The $16 million project allows Vega to produce electric components domestically, which were previously manufactured at its global headquarters in Schiltach, Germany.
Finnish manufacturer to establish U.S. headquarters in Mason, create 30 high-paying jobs
What This Means For You: Vilpe USA LLC is establishing its first North American facility, with plans to locate it in Mason. The move is expected to create 30 full-time equivalent positions. With a total payroll of more than $2.78 million, the average salary for those 30 jobs will be $93,000.
Italian Manufacturing Giant, Salvagnini America, to Expand Greater Cincinnati HQ
What This Means For You: An international manufacturer with its Americas headquarters in Greater Cincinnati is carrying out its second expansion project in the last five years, with plans to create dozens of new high-paying jobs in the process. Salvagnini America, a subsidiary of Italian manufacturing giant the Salvagnini Group, recently began the $6 million project to transform and improve its headquarters, located on Bicentennial Court at the southern edge of the city of Hamilton. The company expects to create at least 28 new jobs at $2.8 million in payroll, for an average annual salary of $100,000.
