Amtrak and the North Carolina Department of Transportation are expanding their passenger rail service between Charlotte and Raleigh by introducing an extra train. The scheduled addition becomes the fifth roundtrip passenger train running between the two North Carolina cities, showcasing the connectivity and growth of both markets.
